According to alot of people, Singapore is not the most gorgeous place around. but you know what? this place will suffice=] You just need to take a look at this place from a different perspective. This place is amazing. We've just gotta slow down our footsteps once in awhile, to take it in :D
Try taking a walk round your neighbourhood, without any objective in mind (ie we're not trying to go to the market to buy vegetables for tonight's dinner and bargain with the ah pek...). Just a simple walk with ur shades and uv protected umbrella if the singapore sun is too strong for you. You wont believe the random things that will catch ur eye. The cute little cat that sleeps in the child seat of a bicycle, a random pair of dentures by the stairs of the mrt station, and open bag of chips in the centre of the road. It's funny what you actually see when you open your eyes.
If you've got the season bus / train tickets, that's even better! Take a random bus / train and stop anywhere. dun worry about it. It's singapore. You're safe. Maybe just avoid kallang (kallang slashers rmb? heh). And ya! Take a look around. Maybe stop by the little shops along in the neighbourhood. The mama shops with their 20 cents mamee noodles and the oh-so-yucky chocolate (always taste expired if you ask me=S). Brings back memories doesnt it?=]
And we havent even started with the lights at night. for that one, just go to the top floor of ur hdb flat, and look out of the balcony at nine at night. Random rooms are lit up while others, the curtains are covered and the lights are off for another. NO, I'm not telling you to take out a pair out binoculars and peek at someone. OY!!! *tsk tsk* But ya! The little yellow lights of the flats, and if you're lucky, the lights in orchard road / marina bay in the background. The sight just takes my breath away.

yea I so agree with loitering randomly.
me and my friend went to Chong Pang and amazingly we managed to get pretty clothes there.hahaha!
